Randy Rogers Memorial Clay Shoot

Above: October 1, 2021, Randy Rogers Memorial Clay Shoot, from left to right Shane Fisher, Justin Johnston, Adam Grubler, and Anthony Willard.

Randy Rogers was a client, friend, mentor, and a great manager to Justin Johnston for years. The most important part his work was making others that he worked with feel valued. I learned the importance of that from him and strive to do that myself. It was an honor and a blessing to not only participate in, but also be able to have Big Pine Consultants LLC, the company that I started just three short years ago, sponsor the Randy Rogers Memorial Clay Shoot. It was great to catch up with old friends Shane Fisher and Anthony Willard from my time at GAI Consultants, Inc., as well as Randy’s family Sharry, Wes, and Rachel. The event was held at Stonewall Sporting Clays, 401 Goosepen Run Rd, Roanoke, WV 26447. It was a challenging course to say the least, but our team in the photo above managed to place 3rd. With a little bit of practice, perhaps we can prevail next year!

Big Pine was in good company with representation at the event from Edward Jones, Berkshire Energy, CEC, GAI, and I3 Engineering. I am very much looking forward to sponsoring the event again next year. I understand it is already scheduled for October 7, 2022, so please put it on your calendars! I will plan to get some practice in before then!

Cheers,

Justin Christopher Johnston

President, Big Pine Consultants LLC
